Mixware is an exclusive North American distributor of Pro Audio, DJ, and Lighting equipment. Mixware was founded in 2008 and is based in Las Vegas, NV. We feature an assortment of unique gear and accessories from our exclusive brand partners.

The Mixware website is a powerful tool for dealers and users alike, as an online showroom for all of our distributed brands’ products. Users can stay up to date on the newest releases from Mixware brand partners, find product information and support. Our Find-A-Dealer tool located on individual product pages, gives real-time updates on stock availability from participating online dealers, so users can quickly find and purchase their next product. Users who prefer to locate a brick-and-mortar reseller in their area can also do so using the Find-A-Dealer feature.

The Mixware Accessory Finder is a tool within our online showroom allowing customers to easily browse and find all of our brand partners’ accessories for the most popular music and DJ gear on the market. The Accessory Finder tool is kept up to date with new releases, both from our brand partners, and the most popular hardware brands in the music merchandising industry.

Gerard Cohen

CEO

A native of France who has lived in the US for many years, Gerard Cohen is the CEO and Co-Founder at Mixware.

Amongst many other successful business ventures, Gerard founded Martin Professional in the early 1980’s and formed the Stanton Group in 1997 which acquired and developed brands such as Stanton Magnetics, KRK Systems, and Cerwin-Vega.

Throughout his career Gerard has brought some of the world’s most cutting-edge technology and trends to the US market and continues to do so through Mixware’s partnerships with overseas manufacturers.

Laurent Cohen

Co-President

Laurent founded Mixware in 2008 with the vision of bringing unique, quality products to market that service the Pro Audio, DJ, and Recording communities.

Laurent has a wealth of business experience in developing products, manufacturing, distribution, and has built strong industry relationships over the years which has contributed to the success of Mixware. Using his background as an audio engineer, music producer, and product manager, Laurent focuses on distributing brands that have the ability to provide new solutions to maintain an unparalleled market position as well providing consumers with a variety of options that best fit their needs.

Henri Cohen

Co-President

Henri leads a sales team who works with all the major retailers including online and storefront businesses to get the latest Mixware has to offer into the hands of customers.

He has an extensive leadership background in sales for top brands such as Mackie, Ampeg, Stanton, KRK and others. Henri brings to the table invaluable understanding of the marketplace, products, and customers that continues to play a major role in the positive sales results of Mixware’s portfolio of distributed brands.

Nick Hernandez

VP of Product Marketing

Nick is a highly experienced business professional and DJ with a seasoned history in the music retail industry which includes work for Guitar Center as an eCommerce Buyer and Category Manager for the Live Sound, DJ, and Lighting categories. Nick’s focus is on developing new product for Mixware’s in-house brands such as ColorKey creative lighting and the Headliner accessories line for performers and creators.

David Arevalo

VP of Marketing

David “Davey Dave” Arevalo has over 30+ years of industry related experience that includes work with GEFFEN Records, TASCAM, as well as his most recent role as Director of Marketing for Pioneer DJ. David also has an extensive background as a professional touring DJ having DJ’ed at some of the largest music festivals in the world and continues to perform which helps to keep his finger on the pulse of the industry. He is responsible for all company marketing communications, social media channels, content creation, and artist relations.
