Mixware sends a big thank you to everyone who visited our booth this year at NAMM! It was another huge success for us, and we hope you’re as excited as we are for all of the new products we showcased for 2020. For those of you who couldn’t attend or visit see below for all the exciting news and products we had at NAMM this year.
Phase X Serato- Phase an Official Serato Accessory
The biggest news of the weekend definitely had to be Phase’s partnership with Serato to have Phase as an Official Serato Accessory in the upcoming months. Don’t worry if you have already purchased Phase because this will be a free software/firmware update to existing Phase hardware. With this update Phase will connect to Serato directly using only USB! No more RCA cables will be required to use Phase because it will use Serato’s HID protocol to send its wireless signal for processing. This will improve latency and accuracy for Phase, allow customization within Serato for Phase, and even more possibilities in the future.
Icon Platform AIR & Platform D3
The Icon Platform was one of Icon’s most recent releases of 2019, and it can now be upgraded with a wireless battery module. This will allow users to use the Platform Nano without the need for USB for power or communication. Icon Platform AIR will be sold either as whole units, or as an upgrade for previous Platform Nano owners. Icon also showcased a new Platform D3 attachment for the Icon Platform. This will give users the ability to have a larger screen with more information when using their device.
Magma RIOT DJ Backpack Series
Some of the most popular items at our booth this year were the Magma RIOT DJ backpacks. The recently released DJ Backpack Lite and RIOT Backpack Lite had plenty of attention, and the most sought after piece was the prototype Magma Backpack made of recycled bottles. It’s an eco-friendly backpack with soft interior cushioning, and it is designed to fit a full sized DJ mixer or your professional camera equipment. Its sleek design won over many people like Mojaxx from DJ City asking when he could get one of his own.
All New Decksaver Covers- Boss RC-505, Rode Rodecaster, and More…
Decksaver has also revealed some of their newest covers for the Boss RC-505, Rode Rodecaster Pro, and the Roland MC-707. These are some of the most popular pieces of gear going into 2020, so it’s only appropriate that there’s new Decksavers to keep them safe and secure. Just like other Decksavers you can keep your gear wired and plugged in with the cover on.
ColorKey Mover Spot 100 & MobilePar Mini Hex 4
Last and certainly not least ColorKey announced their newest lights including the Mover Spot 100, an 80W LED Moving Head. This will be the most powerful light in the ColorKey assortment currently perfect for bars, clubs, or your house of worship. ColorKey also announced their MobilePar Hex 4 Mini, a battery powered par with wireless DMX capability. This will be one of the first wireless lights from ColorKey, and look out later this year for more fixtures to add to the wireless collection.
