Mixware Announces Distribution Partnership with JICO Brand Styli and Cartridges
Los Angeles – Mixware is pleased to announce its distribution partnership with JICO, a manufacturer of superb quality and excellent fidelity vinyl record styli and cartridges.
Headquartered in Hyogo Japan, JICO manufactures approximately 2,200 different models of record styli with each stylus carefully hand-assembled by experienced staff and artisans who have been serving for JICO over decades. Today the JICO name is well known by audiophiles around the world as the maker of the Super Analog Stylus, a rare needle known for both superb quality and excellent fidelity. JICO is also highly regarded in the DJ market with many top influential DJs using the JICO brand as their cartridge and styli of choice.
Mixware will be providing various products from the JICO catalogue to its dealer network throughout North America as well as supporting the marketing and communication efforts for the JICO brand.
“JICO is highly regarded in both the audiophile and DJ communities, and we are excited to expand their reach even further as we share the same dedication and passion for those markets,” said Laurent Cohen, Mixware Co-Founder.
Two of JICO’s latest offerings for DJs are the J44A 7 DJ Cartridge and the N-44-7 DJ Replacement Styli (2-Pack) and feature the new NUDE stylus. The entire tip of a NUDE stylus is composed of diamond, as opposed to bonded tips and the J44A 7 DJ Cartridge and the N-44-7 DJ Stylus are designed to reproduce the powerful bass frequencies and smooth output of the original Shure M44-7 cartridge and N447 stylus. This powerful combination makes it a great choice for entertainers looking to produce a lively, vigorous, and dynamic sound for their events. Both the J44A 7 Cartridge and the N-44-7 DJ Replacement Styli have gained high praise from some the most respected DJs in the community.
“Pretty awesome needles” said DJ Babu of the World Famous Beat Junkies. “I forget that they are not SHURE 44-7’s”
“I love these JICO J44A 7s, they stick to the vinyl and don’t skip. That’s all I use; in the studio, in my videos, and also on tour.” – DJ QBert said.
JICO J44A 7 DJ Cartridge and N-44-7 DJ Replacement Styli (2-Pack) are now shipping to North America JICO retailers and future JICO assortments available from Mixware will include more Shure, Stanton and Pickering compatible replacement styli.
